you first started - Clean trucks - Equipment sparkled - Staff looked
great!!!!! STOP!!!!!!
How do we look today?
As an owner or
manager I'm sure you know how things should look, but are we so busy that
maybe we are not teaching our staff the little things any longer.
Remember, the smallest holes sink
the biggest ships!!!!
Maybe its time we remind them who
the customer really is!!
Does your staff understand that your
customer doesn't care how good they are until they show how much they
care!!!! (Learn about the emotional checking account).
Does your staff realize that until
your customer gets to know them that they are looking at the cleanliness
of your trucks, your equipment, their uniforms (If they
have any), their hair, and they are forming an opinion about
your company!! (Learn about the moment of truth).

You and your
spouse/girlfriend go to you favorite restaurant. The waiter/waitress is
looks terrible and is wearing torn jeans!!! When your meal comes its too
late isn't it? You will never go back to that restaurant.
Here is the problem
The owner was in
the kitchen trying to make you the best meal you ever had, but it didn't
matter did it. It was to late. You already formed an opinion about how bad
the place was.
Is this happening to you??? Are you
trying your best to build a business and your crew is out in front of your
customers destroying it for you??? Maybe its time they attend this four
