HST - Health and Safety Technician

This class is a must for anyone performing restoration
or mold remediation! This course is provided to increase
safety in your workplace and reduce your company’s risk of costly fines
and penalties. it is also designed to put you ahead in the restoration
industry to show insurance companies you and your staff is ahead of the
competition regarding health and safety.
You will be presented with
practical, proven information that you can immediately implement in your
company. topics to be covered are: OSHA standards, Inspections, Citations
and Penalties. Record keeping, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Hazard
Communication, Hazardous Materials, Confined Spaces, and Blood-born
Pathogens.
Who should attend? any individual with OSHA compliance
responsibilities, property managers, business owners, crew managers, etc.
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive:
1. A
certification from the IICRC after successfully passing the exam.
2. A 10
hour completion card from federal OSHA that will prove helpful during
inspections.
3. A complete copy of the "OSHA Standards for General
Industry"
IICRC owns no schools and produces no training
materials. However, the IICRC does recognize established schools
throughout the nation that meet specific standards of Certification.
The examination, along with the proper application
and fees, is forwarded to the IICRC for processing. Once a person meets
the qualifications they are sent Certification credentials.
CLASS TIMES: 8:30AM to 5:30 PM Each day.
Certification testing begins immediately following
the course. A separate fee (check, cash, or credit card) payable to the
IICRC is required at the time of testing.
